The short answer
Send the approved datasheet or valve schedule. Vastlane sources pipeline valves against it from international manufacturers and supply routes, asks each offer to name the manufacturer, deviations and document package, arranges agreed inspection before shipment, and coordinates freight, clearance through appropriate parties and delivery to your site. Technical approval stays with your engineer.
Who this is for
- Procurement managers at operators, marginal-field companies and service companies
- EPC and maintenance contractors needing a supply route for a valve package
- Plant and facility maintenance teams replacing valves
- Project engineers who need comparable offers against one datasheet
Requirements we accept
We source on request; we don't hold valve stock. Typical requirements include:
- Ball, gate, check and plug valves for pipeline service
- Process and isolation valves
- Actuators, gearboxes and actuated valve packages
- Replacement valves matched to an existing nameplate or drawing
What we need to assess it
- The approved datasheet or valve schedule (or the nameplate and drawing for a replacement)
- Quantity, including spares
- Documents and inspection the project requires
- Approved-manufacturer or vendor-registration conditions, if any
- Delivery location and required date
The valve RFQ checklist lists every field and who decides it.
Evidence each offer should carry
Depending on what your specification calls for: the manufacturer and place of manufacture, material certificates traceable to heat numbers, pressure-test reports by serial number, fire-safe, fugitive-emissions or sour-service evidence where specified, inspection release where agreed, and shipping documents. The documentation guide explains what each proves.
How a valve requirement runs
- We review the datasheet and ask about gaps.
- We approach suitable manufacturers and supply routes and compare offers against the datasheet.
- You receive a written quotation naming the manufacturer, deviations, documents, inspection and delivery assumptions.
- Your engineer approves the offer and any deviation; you approve the purchase in writing.
- We place the order, expedite, and arrange agreed inspection before shipment.
- We coordinate freight, clearance through appropriate parties and delivery to your site.
What we don't certify or decide
- We don't select valves for hazardous service; your engineer does.
- We don't certify products, perform tests or act as an inspection body.
- We don't claim OEM authorisation, API licensing or vendor registration unless the quotation shows it for that item.
- Delivery dates, availability and costs are confirmed per quotation.
Delivery is coordinated to project sites and facilities across Nigeria according to the confirmed quotation.
